In addition to offering free digital articles and other content, since 2024 I have available my ultra-ten years experience as an emigrant with individual advice 100% online and fully customized.

When I decided in 2013 to move to Paris, I experienced the difficulty of finding myself alone in a completely new reality, without a reliable guide or simple and immediate tools. I did not receive any kind of support, except some word of mouth and a few not entirely impartial advice. Resources online There were very few free at the time, and there were almost no reference websites that spoke of expatriate and in particular of France.

What I offer:

Personalised individual advice

PREMISE: all services are paid, apart from the exploratory call. The payment must be made in advance by bank transfer, no later than the same date of consultation. Without proof of payment, advice will not take place.

In the event of unforeseen circumstances or a waiver of benefits, I ask you to notify me by email with at least 24 hours before the appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice will result in the charge of the full amount of the session, and without refund.

This first e-mail exchange will serve me to frame your situation, your personal and professional goals and establish the winning strategy to achieve them. But most importantly, It will allow me to meet you. My customers for me are first of all people, with their dreams and their doubts, that I want to know and explore until I can best direct you towards the type of service best suited to you.

Second step: 100% personalized online advice

After this first exchange, you will have at your disposal a variable number of consultations, lasting one hour each. Together we will face different topics exclusively of your choice (work, bureaucracy, opportunities, etc.) and the advice will be completely personalized according to your specific needs.

Costs:

  • 50 € for each one-hour session;
  • 25 € for 30 minutes
  • 100 € for a 3-session package.
  • 200 € for a package of 5 sessions.

In particular, you can contact me in case of assistance or problems in the following areas:

  1. Work: search engines to look for work in France, information on the current labour market (and according to sectors), professional culture, benefits and bureaucracy (tax system, holidays, health insurance etc.);
  2. Work opportunities in the scientific field: I am a graduate in Biology and since 2013 I am a research professional in the public and private sector. I will show you the main opportunities for graduates S.T.E.M. in France, which are the most popular diplomas and the obstacles to a successful career in this field;
  3. Bureaucracy: how to register in France, obtain health insurance, understand French health, apply for unemployment or other state benefits. Having obtained French citizenship in 2024, I also offer my support in preparing the dossier, the interview and all the necessary documentation;
  4. Housing: I will guide you on how and where to look for house for rent (or for a possible purchase), I will provide useful information on the current real estate market, the best sources to find home and some cunning on how to avoid possible scams;
  5. Mentoring about culture and society: I will help you better understand French customs and customs, so as to face any cultural shocks and prepare you for a new approach to the world of work, friendships and sociality in general. Revision/Translation of CVs and letter of reasons

I deal with the correction and eventual translation of CVs and letters of motivation in French and/or English. With more than 10 years of work experience in France, I provide useful information on how to write and adapt a successful application based on the professional sector and the type of job position.

Costs:

  • ♪ Who's that? ♪ 60 € document, 100 € for a package 1 CV + 1 cover letter.
  • Revision and full translation: 70 € to document, 120 for a CV + package cover letter.

The cost of the service includes the sending of all the material by mail, in the desired format (pdf, Canvas etc.) and accompanied by footnotes and detailed explanations on the changes made. Included in the price also a short video call of follow-up once the material has been made correct.

Custom market surveys

Through accurate research, I can provide you with a comprehensive prospectus on average wages, opportunities and qualifications required in the professional sector of your interest. With my experience in the field of academics/research and development, I put my skills especially at the service of post-doc aspiring, PhD students, researchers, laboratory technicians and students/graduates in scientific disciplines.

Costs:

  • 65 € for each study required, including multimedia material (official documents, PowerPoint/pdf presentations) and a consultation of follow-up one hour.
