My first Sunshine Blogger Award nomination

A new month begins in the best way: a ray of sunshine after weeks of rain, many new arrivals and a pleasant and unexpected surprise. For the first time I received a nomination for Sunshine Blogger Award by On the road anyway.

As a budding blogger, it is wonderful to see how much my work is read and appreciated by other enthusiasts like me. I therefore thank from the heart Fabio for However traveling for naming me. In turn, I congratulate him for his intense and exciting travel content, especially useful for travellers with motor disabilities. Through his blog, Fabio seems to mean that nothing is impossible for those who can dream big. Thanks Fabio for your energy, your positivity and your spirit from True traveler.

What is the Sunshine Blogger Award?

Born about ten years ago, the Sunshine Blogger Award is a kind of virtual award ceremony among bloggers for bloggers, with the aim of giving greater visibility to blogs that we consider particularly original and noteworthy. It is a simple and sincere initiative dictated by sharing and camaraderie, two of the most powerful tools of the web.

What are the rules of the Sunshine Blogger Award?

  1. Writing an article explaining how the Sunshine Blogger Award, including the rules and image of the official logo in the article;
  2. thank the blogger who named you and enter the link to his blog;
  3. respond to questions the blogger asked us;
  4. name other blogger friends by choosing new questions for them.

As per the regulations, However traveling He asked me some questions. Curious to know the answers?

Here's my interview!

In your travel experience do you usually notice the accessibility conditions of the places you visit?

Usually yes, especially to understand how that type of route or tourist site is "suitable for everyone". For me traveling and discovering the world is an opportunity that everyone must be able to make use of without distinction, so an easily accessible place will always have for me an extra gear compared to other more difficult ones.

How important do you think computer knowledge is for the success and visibility of a travel blog?

Very important. Talent and passion for writing are the essential engines for the success of a blog, but from direct experience can say that computer knowledge is necessary. This is why it is essential to keep up-to-date on this subject, without ever forgetting the values of spontaneity and sharing, the most important for the content of a blog to be read, appreciated and disseminated.

What travel experience has far exceeded your expectations?

No doubt all proximity trips. When you travel, you often have a tendency to favour more distant and exotic places, light years away from the city in which we live. The pandemic and the impossibility of planning many trips, in the last two years I realized that you don’t need to go to the other side of the globe to discover new and charming places. One example is the Paris region, which with its surprising and unexpected surroundings has nothing to envy the well-known Ville Lumière.

A glimpse of Noisy-le-Grand, about 20 minutes from the centre of Paris.

What is the most special accommodation you have been in?

The Famous Bulldog Hotel of Amsterdam, where I stayed in 2015. It was one of the few times I slept in a hostel in mixed dorm, sharing the bathroom and other common areas. Since I was very interested in my privacy, I feared that I was not well, but the experience was surprisingly positive. The journey itself was so pleasant and full of memories that I could sleep on stones! Travel also teaches this: overcoming one's limits, adapting to everything and surprising oneself every day.

You have an unlimited budget, but you can only use it for a week of travel. What are you doing?

I would spend a week in close contact with nature, in South East Asia or in the nearest Scandinavia. Rigorously with comfortable shoes and backpack on your shoulder!

My nominations!

I will now illustrate my choices for the Sunshine Blogger Award of this year:

Here and elsewhere: Serena is expat In Paris like me, passionate reader, passionate scholar and budding writer. In his blog he tells us, with class and originality, his love of writing through poems, reviews and wonderful stories. A rich project, original and out of the box, that will fascinate art enthusiasts and in particular all those who love to read.

The New Women, project curated by Alessandra "The nomad writer" and Fabiola "Free happy soul". This women's movement was born to give space to all women of the new millennium: independent, travellers, rebels, master of their own destiny and free from schemes. Alessandra and Fabiola, respectively expat in Kiev and Mallorca, they also founded a magazine dedicated to various themes such as art, science, writing and solo travel.

These are my questions for them:

How was the idea of creating your own blog born?
What is the biggest difficulty you encounter in managing a blog and a social network?
What do you think is the most beautiful aspect of being a blogger?
If you had to choose a country or city to live in forever, what would it be and why?
What is the most important message you would like to send to readers of your blog?

And now... it's your turn! Good continuation and good writing!
